BROCHOT by EPIQ Butt Shot Blasting system provides a fully automated solution for the complete removal of residual bath from spent anode butts, preparing them for the next stages of the rod shop process.

Designed as a continuous pass-through system, the equipment combines strategically positioned blasting wheels with controlled anode rotation to deliver efficient, uniform cleaning while avoiding unnecessary carbon removal. With a quick cycle time, supporting demanding rod shop production rates.

The solution integrates automatic shot recovery, separation and recycling, along with dedicated dust collection and an air blow-off system to minimize residual shot on the anode. Sealed entry and exit vestibules help contain both abrasive and dust, while wear-resistant manganese liners and premium components contribute to reliable operation and reduced maintenance requirements.
