Anode Jacking Frame
Reliable busbar lifting. Safe, controlled operation.
BROCHOT by EPIQ Anode Jacking Frame (AJF) provides a reliable and controlled solution for lifting the busbar when it reaches the lower end of its stroke, while maintaining solid electrical contact throughout the operation.
Designed specifically for the demanding potroom environment, the AJF combines high-amperage electrical insulation, non-magnetic components and pneumatic operation to deliver safe and precise handling without relying on electrical power at the equipment.
A complete system of clamps securely holds the anode assemblies while the busbar is repositioned, with the stems continuously pressed against the busbar to preserve electrical contact. Mobile tightening mechanisms and hands-free controls further simplify operation and limit operator exposure around the pots.
Built for both performance and practicality, the BROCHOT AJF can be easily removed by crane and stored on its dedicated trailer, keeping the equipment available when needed without permanently occupying valuable potroom space.
AJF dedicated trailer
Designed for pot-to-pot mobility
Handled by the existing potline crane and optionally transported on a dedicated trailer, the unit can be moved wherever it is required.
Control and monitoring of pneumatic air supply
Pneumatic by design.
The system operates using compressed air from the potline network, with pneumatic logic providing operation and safety interlocks.
Electrical Insulation
Built for severe potroom environments.
Electrical insulation and non-magnetic components address the specific risks associated with high amperage and intense magnetic fields.
Individual Anode Clamps
Maintains electrical contact.
Individual anode clamps hold each stem securely against the busbar throughout the raising operation.
